Right now the powers that be in Ru*sia are deciding whether to ban adoptions of orphans to America. This is a terrible thing. There are roughly 800,000 orphans in Ru*sia alone. If this adoption ban happens these children will have no hope. There are hundreds of adoptions in process that could be stopped....please ask God not to let that happen. Some of these families have even met their children and are close to finishing their adoptions. There is a petition that was written by a young man who was adopted from Ru*sia by an American family. I encourage you to read it and sign it. Here is the link.
I also encourage you to pray hard in faith. We know the Bible states in Proverbs 21:1 "The kings heart is a stream of water in the hand's of the Lord; He turns it wherever He will". Please pray God changes the heart of those in leadership who are for this ban.
